EU Assigns Carrey a 39.6% Fastener Duty Rate

On September 21, the Official Journal published Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2089 on certain iron or steel fasteners from China.

The regulation adds Carrey Intelligent Manufacturing (Jiashan) Co., Ltd. to the cooperating, non-sampled companies under the existing anti-dumping measure. It assigns the company a 39.6% duty rate. The Annex lists TARIC additional code 88FN. The regulation takes effect on the day after Official Journal publication.

The scope is narrow: one named producer in an existing measure. The regulation assigns no EU-wide fastener rate and contains no price or demand result.

Importers that source from Carrey can reconcile the producer record, product scope, customs declaration and TARIC code with their broker. That check can prevent a quotation or customs entry based on the wrong duty treatment.
