CIHS 2026 Puts Fastening Products on the Sourcing Checklist

China International Hardware Show 2026 runs September 28–30 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

The organizer lists fastening products in the product range. Its June announcement planned 120,000 square metres and more than 3,000 exhibitors. These figures are organizer plans, not event results; they do not prove orders, transactions, demand growth, supplier awards or exhibition results.

For a fastener buyer, a product listing can start supplier screening. It does not prove that a source meets a drawing or quality plan. Match the standard and material grade to the part specification. Check coating type and thickness, certificates, lot traceability, packaging, MOQ, lead time and change control. Ask which document links each shipment to its production lot and what approval applies after a material, coating, tooling or process change.

A product range can open a conversation. Supplier evidence decides whether that conversation can support an approved part number.
